Ten-Tenths Figures
Well folks, just out of interest I ran some comparisons on Google Analytics for the weekend.
The graph is from 12am Saturday morning until 11:59pm Sunday night, so it's basically the whole 48 hours of the weekend. The blue line is the LM weekend, and the orange line is the previous weekend. According to Google we did double the number of page views over the LM weekend, the highest peak on the graph is between 5pm and 6pm (forum time) where we did 8,200 page views (137 complete page views per minute) |

And that does not take into account the thousands of regular users who where down at le mans with out access

I tried to get on in the last hour of the LM race and the site had crashed and was unable to access. Can't remember what it said (I was little tired having been up for 39 hrs !!!
 ) but it was along the lines of too much traffic.

 There are times when we have to limit access based on server load, and that was likely one of the times. I know we had no crashes as I get a text message if the site is unavailable for more than a few minutes. Strangely it usually happens around 2am!!!!

Sorry, yeah crash was the wrong terminology I should have said overloaded. Which makes sense with the traffic graph.
