2013 Predictions?!
So with new cars, new aero & new rules, does anyone think there'll be a shake up?
Here are my predictions - 888 - will still be the benchmark, FPR still right there HRT/Supercheap will surprise DJR will fold by the end of the year (although I truly hope not!) Tekno will be fast but lots of panel beater bills! The Mercs will win at least one race The Nissans will struggle, with Caruso the quickest Premat will be a lot more competitive, as will most of the imports come Gold Coast.. Alex Davison, Coulthard, & Engal will surprise.. There's my crystal ball.. |

T 8 to win another championship.
FPR to be less successful than last year. Techno with the Giz to be up near the front of the field. A few surprise results in the first half of the year as teams come to terms with the COTF. Expect Mercedes to start out ahead of Nissan but Nissan will catch up to Mercedes as the year progresses. Both may get a win or podium during the year. Parity to be an issue. |

The Kellys will whinge about parity, while Erebus will take it on the chin, knuckle down, and deal with it.

Parity to be an issue
I got shot down about 6 months ago for saying that word P A R I T Y in the COTF Thread. I was told that as we all had the same COTF design bla bla bla there should be no issues. This is racing for Sheep Stations now expect the word to be thrown around by end of round 2 of the Championship. |

1. Julia Gillard to get up the duff,
2. Dick Johnson will be the next Pope, 3. Chery will be announced as the fifth manufacturer, 4. SVG will pull out of his drive with Techno and announce that he will be joining WSS Sprintcars for 2013/14 5. Archer Capital announce a new Russian summer series for December/January, 6. Lada will join this series prior to joining the main game in 2014, 7. Brighty will join the Lada Dealer Team, 8. Murph will have a whinge about something, 9. David Thexton will replace Jamie Whincup at T888, due to Red Bull and Monster Energy legal dispute, 10. Marcos Ambrose retires from Nascar and buys out DJR and puts himself as #1 driver. |
