What's happening at Cadwell on July 26th-27th?

We've volunteered for the CTCRC Classic Festival that weekend, however, Cadwell & BARC's websites show it as a BARC meeting. Although Cadwell says that the NW Sports Saloons (CNC Heads) will be racing that weekend, the CNC Heads Championship page on the BARC website shows their Cadwell round as taking place on August 30th-31st . . . Cadwell says that's the go-kart "Grand Prix"!

I think I'm right in saying that the CTCRC race under BARC's wing, as they do not have a permit to run their own meetings, hence listed as a BARC meeting, don't know about the CNCC heads tho' maybe a bought grid at the meeting. Hope this helps (ish)

KayBee's looked at the Motorsport News calendar; the championships listed there for July 26th-27th are, apart from the 2CV's (), all CTCRC classes & it's shown as "BARC Classic Festival" The CNC Heads & DDMC Sports Saloons are down to race at the go-kart meeting, so it looks like Cadwell's got it wrong.

The August Cadwell meeting is the Superkart GP, but for what I believe are financial / practical reasons BSA have teamed up with BARC to jointly run the meeting - hence the car races too.

Whilst it is the British Superkart GP I do not believe that this year it is an International CIK event.

So, essentially, everyone is correct.

The CTCRC can put on their own meetings but can and has been in the past, be a big headache so I believe the BARC are running this one for the club.
