I have too many choices at the moment. There is the ED XR6, the EL XR6, my Kawasaki Z250 or my new favorite toy, the Mini http://tentenths.com/forum/showthrea...threadid=14233

Jeez, Bononi, you DO have a big one!
I let my kids decorate my helmet. Adam (the Ralf fan with me in the picture) put "BMW" and the number "5" on it. Justin, a Michael Schumacher fan, sulked. When I wasn't paying attention, he began painting it red, starting with the back. I stopped him before he got too far (you can't really see it in the picture). The scream you may have heard coming from the general direction of New York City was me discovering that he had used permanent, non-washable paint. |

My daily driver is a 2000 Ford AU Falcon Futura series 2 station wagon (Estate Car). It has a 4.0 litre in-line six with EFI and 4 speed auto. It is Regency Red, a deep red pearl colour.
I have recently bought a new weekend toy, it is a 1972 Holden LJ Torana GTR-XU1. It has a 202 ci (3.3 litre) in-line six with three twin throat Dellorto carbs and a four speed floor shift. It has recently been painted in a factory colour, March 17. It's a bit like bottle green. Maybe one day Crash test will put a photo of it in the racer's forum for me. |

Friends are dead, downtown is in ruins, the economy sucks and my business is slow. So what do I do? Go from a 1998 M3 to a 2002 M3 with SMG II transmission. My dream car. It's awesome. It rocks. I'm an idiot. At the BMW dealer my wife gave me a look that could kill. The salesperson, sensing a sale going down the toilet, asked, "How long have you been married?" I said, "15 years." She started breathing again. "Oh, you'll be OK!"
On the second day of owning the car I got a smile, wave and "thumbs up" from an attractive young woman in the back seat of another car. That made me feel 20 years younger, although I know if she had seen me close up without clothes the thumb would have been decidedly down. On the third day, the car was broken into while I was parked on the street within a five-minute walk from home. The lock cylinder was broken off and the leather case with the owner''s manual was stolen, but there was no other damage. Lesson #1: Life is a series of ups and downs. Lesson #2: Never leave the valet key in the glove box. Lesson #3: Walking is good exercise, and I could use some. |
