Oscar Fangio, the son of the Maestro: legally recognized by justice

Today, the Argentinian Justice defined that Oscar Alcides "Cacho" Espinosa Fangio, born in 1938 and still living, is the natural son of the five-time F1 World Champion Juan Manuel Fangio.

The body of Fangio was exhumed three months ago and the DNA tests proved 99% of similarity with "Cacho", making him legally his natural son.

"Cacho" Fangio had an active own racing career from 1967 to 1988, racing mainly in Argentinian motorsport, and his peaks were that he raced the sister car of 1968 Turismo Carretera champion Carlos Pairetti, the Trueno Naranja ("Cacho"'s car was nicknamed Trueno Dorado) and, in 1969, his own father helped him to join the crew of the Misión Argentina that entered with three Argentine cars, the Torino 380W ones in the 1969 Marathon de la Route at the Nürburgring, one of them finishing fourth in the general classification after 84 hours of racing.

Oscar Fangio still lives and manages a lotto agency at Mar del Plata, the principal Summer holiday touring cities of the province of Buenos Aires. He had a daughter, Carolina, who died in 2010 due to a cruel illness.

It's not released what happened with Rubén Vázquez, the other person who claimed to be Fangio's son.

Apparently, his decision/finding will be handed down next week.
