bye bye BAR?
Maybe this is yesterday's news, but I only just heard this rumour today.
Is it true that British American Racing will race under a different name next year? |

Re: Bye Bye BAR
Saw nothing on this either yesterday or this morning on the F1 news sites, or the Rumor site. Details?

I read in another forum something about Lotus. The say it will be called:
Lucky Strike Lotus Honda. The sources are not reliable. What is reliable comming from an F1 forum?...LOL |

Speaking as the no.1 (and only) BAR fan on this forum I'll be coming back to you all soon on the latest once I have spoken to my contacts at BAT who work on the cigarette machine production line in a Turkish sweatshop to see if they have heard any further rumours....
as a well connecte person to the BAR fraternity here are my feelings on what they will be called... 1. BRM (only a change of one letter and 10x as likely as Lotus who are owned by a Honda rival anyway); 2. BLT (Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato racing), or...... 3. BVR (Beyond Visual Range)which they will be if they fall any further behind! I think it will surprise nobody here to know that my preference is for no.2. |

How about Red Bull All American Racing... - naaah.
Anyway, Lotus Cars are owned by Proton. But Lotus Cars have nothing to do with Team Lotus. |
