BTCC stars to attend Bathurst

Yvan Muller and Andy Priaulx could team up to pilot a Holden Commodore in the Australlian touring car edurance race this October. They will drive one of the Kmart sponsored cars with Greg Murphy and Todd Kelly in the second car. Muller has yet to be confirmed but he did take part in 2000 with Plato and got a top 10 finish.

Pink69,

I would respectfully suggest that Autosport might get a little peeved if you copy every single article and headline from every week's issue. We're perfectly capable of picking up a copy ourselves thanks.

Fair point. Just thought I'd warn people about skating a little too close to copyright rules.

Well said Cecil...I've actually got more than one ocean in between the UK and Australia. Half a world away.
Thanks for the news, pink69!

Yeah there's a small story about it in this weeks Motorsport News, be interesting to see if it happens, didn't Jeff Grech say after 2000 he wasn't interested in overseas drivers anyomore after Plato & Muller in 2000.

I hope they get the drives, Muller deserves another go and Priaulx was trying to line up a test earlier this year wasn't he.

He said in an interveiw with Auto Action just before Bathurst last year that they needed to have experienced drivers in the co-drivers seats, not once a year drivers who don't have the experience.

I don't agree with that actually, look at how Cleland and Menu have performed, they have done pretty well when they have competed.
