MG recieve power boost
MG will be using an updated version of their engine for the next round of the BTCC at Silverstone. Antony Reid, who has no engine problems all year, will have an upgraded engine while Warren Hughes, who is on his second engine, may wait a little longer. Hopefull reid will be closer to the Vauxhalls with his new powerplant.

Reliability may be an issue as little race testing has been done to this engine.

Nope, you only start losing points after the forth change.

Updated engine which has more power, although both old and new engines will go to Silverstone for Reid.

The rule of losing points for a replacement engine applies to replacing a blown engine, not upgrading the engine's specification in this way.

Don't want to blow too many with the limited engine rules this year... I know it's supposed to curtail costs to make it easier for the little teams but it may just slow down engine development for people like MG.
