New Points Leader
I guess we will have to wait another week to see Jeff Gordon take over the points lead . The weather forecast for Sunday's race at New Hampshire calls for 80% chance of rain.

Well Mugs...if it doesn't rain, I'd put my money on the #6 car...he is only 9 points behind Sterling.

Lars....The #6 car will need a lot of "Viagra" if they intend to beat out the #24 and/or the #20 car for the Championship.

Roselady3.....Well, at least you got half-of-it correct. Unquestionably the 2 best drivers in Nascar are Jeff and Tony. It is a toss-up which will go all the way. The other contenders best contact the #6 and see if they can obtain a "whole bunch' of Viagra.

Hooray for Ryan. A well deserved win.
BTW, have you ever seen such a tight points battle? The remaining races are going to be dynamite. |

congrats to ryan newman
who would of thought that the #6 car would be leading the points after 27 races - should be a great finish to the season.... my money's (lack of!) is on tony stewart to be the champ |

OK, my picks for champion, which overall, will be the closest finish in the history of Nascar.
1. Tony Stewart 2. Jeff Gordon 3. Rusty Wallace |

Somehow I think Tony Stewart is going to come out of this on top. He has always been a second-half driver and he is now within striking distance. I really would like to see Mark Martin win it but Roush has been inconsistent in recent years.
