E Ck Konica R2 (spoiler)
Talk about a close finish - Winterbottom, who finished 4th in Race 1 on Saturday, carves his way through the field in a 16 lap race, getting closer to the lead whilst Porter leads from lap 1.
At the chequered flag, Winterbottom manages to get his nose in front and win by 0.0115 of a second (not the closest V8 or even car race in Australia btw - that goes to a NASCAR event at the Thunderdome...). Pity Eastern Creek don;t use video cameras on the finish line to check positioning out.... |

Its arguably the closest Porter has gone to being at the front all year
Its good for Winterbottom to do these reverse grid things, you learn nothing about race craft and running in traffic being in front all the time |

Have to go back and check exact figure but was 0.0003 or 0.0002 in a NASCAR event at the Thunderdome.

Yep Excellent Race and Kelly and White did well to win races 1 and 3 as well
