"Mario Andretti Grand Prix at Road America" Thanks TheRob! That was HUGE for Cart! I think that would have been the last straw for a lot of fans. You can take away all of the concrete buckets you want, but the best road course in North America HAS to be on the calendar!

And on a day when you think Mario is doing more for the IRL than CART, this is announced! Thank GOD!

Only Mario could do this... I'm starting to believe everything is possible in CART. And it is..

Woohoo! RA took a huge bite out of the schedule, it's so great to have it back. Thanks Mario.

Trans Am is already set for the ALMS weekend there... Problem here now is a HORRIBLE support schedule... I'm soooo glad to see CART back at RA, but since the monsoon there a few years back (boy did they "f" up that weekend) their support schedule has sucked bad. They NEED Trans AM, they NEED Toyota Atlantics, they NEED Barber Dodge, and they NEED another like Speed GT... I have been going to Road America for 25 years and seen CART, CAN AM, ALMS, Sprints, and SuperCycles, and I WILL be there in August twice, but mark my word - this will be the WORST CART weekend there in terms of support races.

i tell ya, they need good supports or cheaper ticket prices. These last 2 years have been horrible. Dont get me wrong, I'm happy as hell the race is back and i'll be there either way, but there are a lot of fans who want to see more than just a CART race on Sunday
