Picture Request
hey guys, I wonder if you could help, i'm looking for some quality photographs of the BTCC 92-94 era, pictures of the cars or drivers, anything thats around 640 x 480 or so
I'm making some touring car models for the EA PC game 'f1 career championship' (its a f1 game duh ) but it has a very good physics model that can simulate front wheel drive, and saloon cars reasonably accurately can anyone help ?? i've attached one of the models i'm working on Cheers -Ollie |

about putting the models online, sure if people want to use them in other games, thats fine by me
the supertouring site has only a few large pictures, most are very small pictures, unless I have missed them :S |

I have specifically made the images smaller to aid download time and to control any copyright issues - most photos have been kindly donated by the photographer themselves.
I do have other sources, so if I can help out drop me an email at webmaster@supertouring.co.uk with your requirements and I'll see what I can do. Last edited by supertouring; 2 Sep 2003 at 20:21. |

The game is called F1 challenge 99-02, for the PC (my mistake earlier, the playstation version is called f1 career challenge)
EA have designed the game so that it is easy to modify. What i am trying to do is basically replace the f1 cars with BTCC cars from 93 and 94 so yes, you will be able to drive the cars, and they should handle and feel like 1000 kilo(or whatever) fwd saloon cars should. Each car can have unique suspension and engine performance and, different tires brands / compounds can be modelled there are a number of add on tracks for F1 99-02 apart from the standard f1 tracks, knockhill, oulton, croft, brands (gp and indy) and donnington are all available now, as well as loads of other euro tracks F1 99 - 02 is much more realistic than colin mcrae, or toca race driver have been for example I have a lot of work to do, all the cockpits need modelling, and the physics for the cars needs to be worked out and tested. there are several mods being worked on now for f1 99-02, and a large community of people who are interested in modding and playing the game find out more at www.racesimcentral.com, which has the best forums, information about my BTCC cars can be found in the EA f1 series forum phew, thats enough typing for now |
