Lawson Purdie should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Hi Morcilman
As the father of the runner-up in the first competition, I can tell you it was good television. The tension built up until the final programme which was at Monza. Mark's family and ourselves from Neil's family were over there and there was great camaraderie with everyone. Mark was a worthy winner just beating Neil by 4/5th's of a second. All through the programme everyone seemed to be very friendly. The finalists were from Scotland and Ireland so I'm not sure how that was received in England, but it was well watched here in Scotland as I'm sure it was in Ireland. If you're interested in taking part in the 2004 competition, please don't hesitate. I'm positive you'll enjoy it.

I think you should email James Crofts as he suggests to contact Tim Matthews who organised the programme and who is currently starting the process again for the 2004 competition.
