Tratty sells up?
I've heard that Anthony Tratt is selling his francise/team. Apparently, he's taking the Toll money and racing elsewhere (Nations Cup?).

Its been rumoured elsewhere but the source hasnt been proven as yet.
Anthony Tratt is already in Nations Cup in the Lambo, alongside Paul Stokell & Slamming Sammy Newman. They use the Toll transporter for the Lambos as well these days. Given that the proprietors of this team place more emphasis on corporate hospitality (as documented in AA) than outright race results, it seems to be a possibility. Why they would go to the trouble of building a BA then sell everything is beyond me though. |

They ave more chance of running at the sharp end and still be on TV in NC and Lambos have that unattainable exotic feel that lures in the big fish.

I can't see him getting out of the v8's, I've have'nt heard or seen any evidence of this rumour anywhere
As GTR said, why would they build a new BA for the last part of the season if they are going to pack up and sell:confused:   |

Well ford boy, stranger things have happened in this league.
While Nations Cup continues to become stronger, competitively and commecially, it could be a realistic playground for Tratt. The Lambo's are going really well this year. Stokell is kicking their butts, and this could be a factor in Tratt's decision ... Just because he built a new BA, doesn't mean he has to stay in the V8 game forever ...... |

It is significant that this team has never managed to sell any of their previous racing cars. They have 2 Porsche Cup cars, and the 2 AU and now the BA Supercars under dustsheets where applicable in their nicely laid out workshop (take a peek at www.tollracing.com - a sweet setup)
I am not sure that being the driver of a second car in the stable with someone like Stokell is a great move. Maybe a switch to a Dodge Viper where there is no logical competition would be clever... PROCAR tends to run their parity along car and driver as opposed to just car, so it could be a good thing. |

Is the team owned by Tratt or Paul Little of Toll-Ipec?

Sounds like a good move if he does, Will get more air time on 7 than he will with 10. Watched NC a while back and even though the coverage was not what i would call great, at least they showed all the cars at some stage. I am starting to think that only about 10 cars run in V8's these days, well 10 seem to think that.

Paul Little Racing P/L remains the entrant for the #75 Toll/Ipec Falcon. Entrant and owner of everything not nailed down I would have thought.
The Annual Reports on the Toll Holdings Limited discuss that this company is controlled by Paul Little, CEO of Toll as it is a related-party transaction that is required to be noted in the accounts. I have always discovered that unless you ask a direct question, you dont always get a direct answer! |

According to the AA article a while back it seemed to say that Paul Little owned it, unless Tratt has bought the team in the last few weeks.....
Does John Sidney still have anything to do with them? Last edited by racer69; 1 Sep 2003 at 12:37. |

Lets just say that a little thread somewhere else was said to have raised some corporate governance issues not previously envisaged

I can assure you that it is total cr@p. Tratty is not selling up, Paul Little owns the team, hence the name Paul Little Racing. Tratty runs the team.

I understand it that Tratty owns the Licence, as sponsors can not own Licences.
