I stayed for 10 minutes, I personally preferred the guest chat we had with Alan Hyde on here!

I don't think you have much option other than to be sociable when you're being paid to chat

WE went on for 50 minutes and he answered six of the questions we sent in. We did notice that the moderator took some of our questions and put them under some one else's name though. Think that was to make it look like there were more people on there than really were! There were some rather amusing questions though. Will we now all start laughing when we seee Matt Neal in his tight overalls.

Thank you so much for saying you enjoyed our chat....so did I, and we will have to do another one soon! I am deeply flattered that our chat went so well and that you all enjoyed it, and I'm also very pleased that JT was able to fit one in last week for you all on the Green Flag website.

I have to point out, though, that Thommo's time is in far greater demand than mine - he's a top line line world class touring car driver, and I'm just a broadcaster, which would probably explain why he was a little more pressed for time on his web chat than me! I reckon it was a major coup by Green Flag to get him online to do it, and typical of him to be good enough to do it!

When we did our web chat the other week, I was literally sitting at home tapping away on my computer, and so I was able to stay chatting for ages..... James was probably standing by to go off and do radio interviews, as I know he had a busy schedule of that kinda stuff last week.

He's a very, very nice guy and an extremely sociable chap, and I'm sure if he could have done he would have stayed for longer and chatted for hours - he's a natural talker and usually one for lengthy and very clever literary answers! Big thanks to James and to Green Flag for getting that together and making it happen.

Let's arrange another of our little chat sessions soon to help us all get over the impending BTCC starvation that we are about to endure......

All the best,

Al

PS Those of you who listen to Talk Sport 1053/1089MW, I'll be on Ian Collins' show at the weekend looking back at the season finale! Probably with the emphasis away from being too serious - you know me!

Sorry I had to miss your chat session, Al, as you know I'd obviously been very naughty as I was banished to that hellhole they call 't' North' for the week!

I think another one is called for in the off-season so I can come by and annoy you this time

I'm not sure that it would be quite so much fun, Craig - it would be like having teacher in the room.

We got up to all sorts of mischievous conversations without any Antill type discipline.

Oh very well, you can come if you promise to be good!

Agreed, it was a good 10 minutes before I was called away. Time is far too precious...
