Wet Thruxton European gt s

Does anyone remember a very wet weekend meeting at Thruxton in the early 70 s , it was a round of the then European gt series. Mainly Porsche
911 S, driven by if memory serves me Clemans Schickentanz, Claude Haldi, Kurt? Simonsson,
and a Ferrari Daytona driven by Peter Brown for
J C Bamford. Having stood in the pouring rain for two days marshalling at the middle post in the Campbell, Cobb, Seagrave, complex i was glad
that the race was stopped for the assistance needed for a porsche that had crashed.my pockets were full of waterm
Does someone have any photos of these cars, i had always wanted to see them but the weather spoilt the weekend.
