Will Ralf drive in Hungary?
I still haven't read the "Bild" today but the reports from Germany are saying that Ralf's return has been ruled out for Hungary. Belgium is also a question mark at this point.

BBC Sport are reporting that Ralf will not drive in Hungary as the two vertebrae have not 'hardend' sufficiently. Looks like another run for Pizzonia then. |

I still don't think we'll see him again this year. Williams might as well settle for 5th, knowign that havigna Firday tester for next year would be a big advantage, adn Ralf can prepare fully for 2005.

Williams say Ralf won't drive.
The replacement won't be a surprise... |

Possibly Monza, possibly China.
I'm amazed at the cynicism here. Ralf wants to come back but is staying away on doctors advice. It has nothing to do with Toyota at this stage. |

I wouldn't think any of the drivers are "at Hungary" yet - the race is ten days away!

Used all their allowable drivers so it has to be Pizzaboy or Gene.

Just read on ITV.com that Rafe won't return until the Italian gp, Pizzonia will definatly stand in for Rafe in Hungary according to the Williams team.

I think he would do himself a favour to call it quits untill next year. Nothing to prove, no championship to win, but potentially real and permenant damage to himself if he has another serious accident. You simply can't hurry nature.

Agreed. If he was to return, I think he should get out of his Williams contract and be Toyota's third driver at the race weekends. Less danger of accidents, plus he'll gain valuable experience with the team and help them with setups etc.

Ralf can't be a third driver, because he's raced in more than six Grands Prix during the past two seasons.
