Steven Richards is always strong, very consistent driver, I would love to see him win the championship without winning a race.

I would say he is more consistent than Ambrose and Bright, sure they can win races, but Richo is always around the top 5. I would be more impressed to see someone win the championship without winning a race, rather than someone winning them all.

For the rest of 2004:

- Ambrose
- S.Richards
- Ingall
- Bright
- and one other driver (after Bathurst another driver normally starts to string together a couple of top 5 finishes)

2005

- Ambrose
- Murphy
- S.Richards
- Bargwanna
- J.Richards
- Seton

Steve and Jum, I am pretty sure will pretty much win at Bathurst, and Marcos will get the Number one on the door for next year!
As for the rest, I'm not even going there its too hard to call!

I see your point but isn't that like saying you won the race but were first at the wrong end? The points system is the reason possibilities like the one you suggest can arise, and it's weird to say the least that a driver can win a championship by not winning a race.

Murphy showed last year that just because your good at the end of one season means you'll be any good at the start of the next.

I think Ellery will be a stronger threat next season also Triple eight racing!

For this year Ozemail racing with the enduros ahead and also FPR with their new engine guru and engines themselves!
