And a very worth champion too.

Best moment (just watched the TV coverage) was the onboard shot as he crossed the final flying finish to see Peter waiting to congratulate him. Wonderful sportsmanship, brilliant driver.

Well done to Sebastien, he has been the class of the field all year.

Congratulations, indeed, the most complete driver just now. Was it snow, gravel, mud or tarmac, he is always there, on the top.

Agreed, Sebas thoroughlly deserves the crown especially after last year when Frequelin told him to slow on RAC when he still had a slim chance of winning it.
He has shown true ability on every surface and yes to win on snow takes some doing, he still hasnt gopt the credit he deserves for winning there in my view, and his pace on a wet Network Q was amazing. Top bloke, top sportsman and a real proper rally driver.

Indeed, it is a well deserved title. Loeb and the Xsara were definitely the class of the field this year.

Congratulations to him and the Citroen team!

Tell you what I remember driving back to service after a stage on the Net Q a few years ago and being passed on the road section by a little Citroen Saxo, it wasn't even a S1600 car. He flashed his lights and I let him by and he gave me a quick toot on the horn as he went past, even then I thought to myself that this kid is gonna go far, Citroen obviously did and fair play to them for having the faith and determination to go with it.

An excellent and well deserved championship victory for Sebastien Loeb...

He's not always been the fastest on every rally, but his consistency has been mighty.

I'm sure Petter will have asked him to keep the trophy nice and shiny for when he gives it him back in 12 months time...
