Prodrive Museum

Hello,

I wasn't really sure where to place this thread, if it needs moving then please do.

Has anyone been to the Prodrive Museum? I heard that the collection had moved to Donington, however I gather that was when the move was taking place for Prodrive at Banbury, I guess the collection is now back there in their new facility?

It's moved back into the factory now - worth a visit if you do the factory tour as well. There were only a couple of things they wouldn't let you look at or photograph - I've got a whole bunch of photos of the DBR9's in various states of build but at the time the Subaru WRC gearbox was 'look but no photos' and the next gen Subaru WRC was under wraps and 'no looking'. I guess that shows how long ago that visit was!

Of course Prodrive means a lot to me as my Aunt worked for them up to the mid 90s and there will no doubt be cars there from that era. Great history

Thanks for the responses.

I was going to do the Donington museum, however it looks like its mainly F1 cars and im looking for saloons and sportscars really. The other one was the motor museum at Gaydon. I guess im lucky in that they are all only about 30 min from me. The Prodrive one looks like it might be the most interesting.
