I'm sorry but while I liked many of the corners on that circuit I didn't like the general flow of it. This is why when I came to thinking where to put the pitlane I found myself changing more & more things. This is what I came out with.
I'm sorry that it isn't much like your circuit but I just feel that it flows better. I hope you don't hate me too much for doing this |

Yeah, I much prefer that Always.
It's not a lot has been added, but the way the layout is structured I think is a lot better, and obviously the end result seems quite drastically different |

I like it A_F.
I think the idea was there in principle to begin with, but I think yeah you've extricated the potential of the original design well. I think it's inevitable that some will say this, but it smacks of Estoril. Superficially at least, i.e. the way it looks. |

I think that while it may look similar to Estoril (especially the top part) most of the corners are actually very different, especially how they fit together. However, I can imagine the tight hairpin in the top section being a bit like the corkscrew at Estoril & having quite a lot of elevation change.

firstly, i did say that it was nowhere near complete. and secondly i changed the track this morning so it's okay. i changed the colours of your track and set it over mine to see the complete changes, and then i sort of just figured out a new track completely using the two templates. But i probably wouldn't have if it wasn't for you saying that the flow of the track was not great.
(oh and by the BTW, I'm not stealing your ideas!) |
