These stories will become increasingly more prevalent until it happens |

It's hard to disagree with some of the stuff Ralf says.
Although you sense he's being largely mischevious here! |

True, but him saying it is more credible than a lot of people.

Maybe k-b, but i don't think that Michael needs Rafe as his spokesman, and i'm sure he won't thank him for it.

A lot of Ralf's rpedictions have been shaky in the past, particularly regarding Michael. And I suspect Micahel enjoyed the last two races more than most, and if it is the beginning of a Ferrari/Bridgestone resurgance that we're seeing, he's even mroe likely to continue into 2006 and beyond.

It would be much better for Ralf to retire...

Don't actually think that Ralf knows anymore than anyone else, and if he did he would be unable to tell. I think he should concentrate on his own season a little more and let Michael worry about his.

Yer, ralf saying it is no more credible than, say, the guy who owns the cornershop down the road.

I think Ralf needs to stop shooting his mouth off on the subject of Michael and concentrate on why he's being outperformed by Jarno Trulli.

I think the answer to that one might be easy to come up with, Jarno's just a better driver!

My thoughts exactly. Gossip from an uninspired, unimaginative and probably bored so called reporter, with 'time on his hands'. Sad really. |

He is in a car that is supposed to get better during the next few years. And in the WDC standings, he has about the same number as points as the other guys of his age (slightly more than Montoya, slightly less than Webber), while they are driving for teams that are supposed to be better. |

Plus: is Williams better? maybe marginally, now. Definitely not at the beginning of the season. |

Well, he hardly said anything revelatory did he? Only what pretty much anyone interested in the sport has been speculating.
And he didn't claim to be passing on inside knowledge, just guessing. |

Yeah, it's funny cause Ralf's comments about his brother are always like that. He sees what we all see and then says "i suppose it's not so much fun being unable to get any points. If he isn't having fun at all, maybe he will leave the sport." He just says two logical things we all know. But the news people take them and make them a huge story for some reason.

After all the hue and cry Ralf has been making since the start of the season, I sometimes feel, whether he is being a bit silly or the media make Ralf look silly. Would be interesting to see, if someone quizzes MS regarding this, at the Indy press-conferenece today

MS is very difficult to figure out. I get the impression that no one really knows him, except maybe his wife, and that includes Ralf. It is logical to assume that MS will pack it in soon and when you have been on top for so long to find yourself no longer there, well, the decision usually is easier. However, Michael may surprise and hang around until he's 40. For a few reasons, I think Ralf hopes that that is not the case but imo, Ralf doesn't know any more than we do.

Michael may be demotivated and not enjoying his racing, but he's achieving a lot more than little brother, who is really the only driver to have been outperformed every weekend this season - I'm surprised he didn't recieve more criticism for the Nurburgring incidents he had.
Interesting that Ross Brawn has commented that the team may give up on 2005 and focus on 2006 from an early stag e- possibly because they want Michael to ahve a good final fling. |
