Tiptop should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Rubhino - car development

Just popped into my head but due to the strained relations with RB & MS and the ferrari team does anyone think that this may have had a little effect on the way the ferrari is performing this year ?

Has the strained relations and possible in-fighting hurt the progress of the 2005 challenger ?

I know there are a lot of other factors ie, tyres lack of downforce etc have contributed but I can't help but think that letting RB go and bringing in Massa is perhaps a new chance of creating that all important team harmony that Schumacher needs ?

any ideas ?

Well it certainly isn't for lack of testing

No No... At the start of the year and during winter testing Rubens and MS were still chums (still are IMO) and still the car was not competitive...

I doubt very much Ferrari's pace is down to a rift between Ms and Rubens...

Massa IMO was brought in to be tested as a possible long term replacement for Schumi...

The 2005 challenger is just fundamentally rubbish I'm afraid. Tyre and car-wise, although more tyre-wise.

No amount of excessive testing or level of arrogance can solve its problems.

Don K has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!

I'm not sure about that.

If they would have tested enough before the start of the season, the Bridgestone tyres might have been competitive.
