Look at Frank de Jong's European Touring Car Championship History site, http://etcc-history.it4us.nl Very good general information and race history.
Also www.thegaffer.com/motorsport/cars/bmw which has basic specs and a photo for most group 2 running cars in period. James Taylor and Mike Macartney's "The BMW 2002" from Brooklands books contains one chapter on '02s in competition but there must be something better or more comprehensive out there. |

Suggest you go to: http://www.bmwcca.org. It's the BMW Car Club of America. they have extensive '02 data, and may let you access the archives of their magazine 'Roundel' through the site also. Good Luck.

The gaffer site does not seem to be available at the moment.I don't know why.
It contained a short spec sheet (about 40 items) and photo of an amazing number of cars. I really only looked at the '02s of which there were probably at least a dozen different cars, eg Alpina,GS,Schnitzer etc in both 2 and 4 valve configurations plus Turbo variants.Lucky I printed off the info I needed! Needs a more computer literate person than me to search perhaps? |

Good to hear you like it. Most of this data comes from my archives, which has not been updated since 2001 - I shifted my interest to my touring car site.
But Darren Galpin adds new entries from time to time, it seems. |
