kmsport has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Who's going to be victorious at Barbagallo?

As the next V8SC round in WA approaches...
Who's your tip?
For me....Skaife
T Kelly
S Richards
Ingall to leave WA still with championship lead...

Who will take the top berth in Perth?

Not long till the WA round of the series... who will take the top berth in Perth.. at the Perth V8 400?

3 Races again to test the boys in their expensive toys... who will have the joys?

Will FPR perform a minor miracle (for them) and get both their cars on the pace for 2 meetings in a row?

Will PWR lose another car for the 3rd championship meeting this year?

Will James Courtney get through a whole race meering without having to get out of the car somewhere other than the pits?

My pics:
G.Tander
R.Ingall
M.Winterbottom

Now that might be worth putting money on at the TAB A $5 investment should yield a lazy hundred...

hmmmm as a local i think there is going to be carnage.

noone can be picked as the winner because there will ne to many varables.

I think race to will be pace race city with half the laps uder it. If anyone drops a wheel of the edge of the tarmac they wont be coming back with out needing a new splitter if there not beached.

U only have two passing spot really and the down into kolb (over the back) and ford fast brake (last turn) and the last turn has a killer bump in the braking zone that was lifting up the cars off the deck last year. Iwill be worse this year.

I think one sports sedan champion should be on pole race 2 though! then you will see some great placing of one v8supercar.

They should run it on the short track for a little more carnage

I was on the circuit in December and don't recall the braking area into the final turn to be bumpy Nivola?

There is also a passing point into turn one and as Ambrose pointed out to Forbes, theres a passing point in the esses

conrod your right but as has been seen lately noone will pass easly and if you try through the Biante S's you will probably be in the wall. Ask Noske and some of the others from the last few years.

mate that bump we didnt even know about till last years round. It was the reason for all the reed flags in the practise events and why everyone went for the sand at the last turn. Normal cars have no problem because there not as much compresion on the shocks but the V8's dont handle it to well.

But we will wait and see two and a half weeks to go.

For my money...
Lowndes
Richards (The one with Jack on board)
Kelly (Could easily be either of the brothers so I'll be no more specific than that.)

Don't forget young Jamie Whincup, he is quite quick. Will Davison and Steve Johnson. And of course the usual Russell Ingall, Craig Lowndes and the other hol*** drivers.

Garth at home

If Garth is quickest in practice then gets pole, more people will be there Sunday.

If Garth wins, The West Australian will give the sport a boost.

Oi, dont laugh at a Thexton (Thexo? Thexy? Oh well... ) win, stranger things have happened (like Alex Yoong. Now that is funny with a capital FUN) and with the round at Perth looking more like the poor shrunken cousin of Monza, here are my top tips...

1. The Nose (Skaife)
2. The Laughter Lines (Ingall)
3. The Worry (Dumbrell)

I couldnt put it any simpler, now if you'll excuse me, this moonshine can't be distilled on its own y'know...

I'm backing Lowndes for the win this round.
He has the car, he has the ability, he needs this win to set himself up for the c'ship. Before the season started Lowndes seemes favourite to win the lot, so I'm sure he'll be determined to take a win over there.

Skaife will be in the top 5, he appears to be quite settled so far this year - (as much as that annoys me)

And both Kelly's will be there - particularly Todd he has some catching up to do in the points.

Hopefully DJR and FPR will fight to the top across the weekend. And Tander and Murf dont.

Top 5 - Lowndes, SRichards, Ingall, Skaife, TKelly

With another Reverse Grid format though, it really is a bit of a lotto.

Obvious answer is Mark Skaife, of course. I was right last time.

Ah thats right Riciardello gets a turn this round doesn't he? I wonder how he will fare in a parity formula series? Somehow I don't think he will win quite as easily.

One of the many instances where Ambrose wasn't penalised in 2003, on the way to a championship for Ford to stop the drought - at all costs.

With Lowndes having the most wins at Barbegello ( didn't he win all 12 races over 3 years at one stage?) and a very good car he'll be on it, Team Tom will be sniffing around, but I'd like to see Whincup get back up the front - he had his glory, then he had his reality check in NZ, would like to see good consistent fast racing from him now...
