2006 GP of Sonoma “Pick ‘em” Contest
Sears Point/Infineon Raceway – Sun., August 27

DEADLINE FOR PICKS: Friday, August 25, at 7 p.m. (GMT)..That is approx. 10 a.m. on Friday, August 25, in California

NOTE: I’m Doing the “Top Panoz” and “Top Dallara” Again, since we will have two different chassis in this event.

PLEASE Get them in Before the Deadline

-- The IRL returns to Sears Point for the third and final road circuit on the season schedule on the 2.2 mile configuration that includes the Carousel, but does not run the Esses, and utilizes the motorcycle track’s hairpin.

The event is 80 laps and 184 miles

Here are your results after Qualifying:

No on ehad Dixon on the Pole

DrewDawg was closest to the pole speed for 2 pts.

DrDisque and AlwaysFirst had 6 pts. each in the "Top Six" with five selections and one being correct.

Flavinha had 4 of 6 with one correct for 5 pts.Tim & Marcus had 4 of 6 for 4 pts. and Drerwdawg had 3 of 6 for 3 ps.

I counted Sharp and Sheckter for slowest....DrDisque had Sharp for 2 pts.

DrDisque, AlwaysFirst & tim all had Dixon as the top Panoz qualifier

No one had Marco as the top Dallara Qualifier:

Here are the Race Results;

No one had marco as the winner

Drrewdawg had 4 of 5 for 4 pts.

Tim & DrDisque had 3 of 5 for 3 pts. & all others had 2 of 5 for 2 pts.

No one had Kanaan for the fast lap

AlwaysFirst was closest to the fast speed for 2 pts.

Tim & DrDisque had Dixon as the 20 lap milesotne leader for 2 pts...Dixon led at 40 & Marco led at the others.

Flavinha had Bucknm as 1st out for 2 pts.
