It appears that today tasman motorsport has appointed jeff grech as there director for the rest of the year,he replaces kevin murphy who is stepping aside to mainly focus on Greg Murphy Racing quite interesting hopefully grech can have a good effect on tasman for the rest of the year.

What's with Tasman pinching things from PWR Racing? First Greg Murphy and his #51, next is Jeff Grech and with stong rumors that SuperCheap Auto is on the move to the Tasman team, what's next, Tasman takes over PWR Racing itself, imagine the headlines: Tasman, the new evil empire strikes.

I took it to be the recreation of the old Holden Racing Team, circa 1993, with Mr Harrop and Mr Storey and Mr Grech on the engineering front.....

well this seems the reunion of the old HRT and seems abit like the movie gone in 60 seconds wonder if it will end the same, i hope this is good for Tasman and they can bring in some good resaults in the future.

Tasman share price leapt up today, I had to read the announcement to see what all the fuss was about! Great news, it can only be a good thing for them. I wonder how much Murph(Junior) had to do with recruitment of this latest addition?!!
Looking forward to improvements first in consistency (less breakages) and then more speed when the cars are first rolled off the trailer before practice, these two things have been hurting them most I think. More engine power will also help, but it is not the key problem at the moment. |

IMO you hit the problems on the head there but Jeff's appointment is effective immediatly but the full impact with development etc will take a while to be noticeable but we will see small improvements all the tme.

Generally the Tasman cars have been the 'next best' Holden's behind the Walkinshaw four, lets see if this can see them regularly in the Top 10 (as opposed the beating the WP built cars) |

Ment - the Australian way of saying Mint So it's either really good livestock that are sick, or livestock with really fresh breath. Either way, the sick ones will be easier to catch for rustling purposes so that Sheep Stations could populate his/her farming empire |

Hopefully this will be a boost for Murphy. He's been the forgotten man since Bathurst 2003 from my perspective. He never seems to feature much in the races.
