Its nice to see the European LMPs stick around for Laguna Seca. I think that Porsche will get the win here over the Audis, but who knows.

You and I both, Badger!
Unfortunately it looks like an uphill battle. Laguna appears to be a Ferrari track.

From my counting of the points, I think the only way Flying Lizard can win is if Risi fails to complete 70% of the race in both their cars? And, of course, Flying Lizard win the race.

I'm also flying out to see it (and the Corkscrew!) in person next Monday, so look out for a Brit marshal (I suspect I won't be the only one though!!!!!!) in overalls (or in the wheelchair on days off!!!!). Should be fun!

With quite a few British teams, drivers & fans making the trip I get the feeling there will be a mini invasion going on!

Flying out from Australia on sunday and really looking forward to the weekend. A couple of questions if anyone can help. Will the cars be on the circuit on thursday and also is their general car parking at the track( the website is a bit unclear).

Bathurst last weekend and Luguna Seca in a week, do'es life get any better than that.

Steve, it's good to hear that you will be marshalling at Laguna Seca - I had already heard from Allan McNish that you were going to be there.

All of us on the Motors TV crew were pretty disgusted with the way you were treated at the Le Mans 24 Hours this year, and as you will know, our own forum members were all behind us.

I'll make sure I give you a mention during our live coverage next week. Enjoy the race!

hi Mark, love your commentary on Motors TV, for both DTM and Super GT, but why for the ALMS, we must support those of Speed with all the breaks for advertising ??

For the same reason we get country-specific camera work for F1 -- limited space next to the track for cameras. So the contracted media group gets to place the cameras and everyone else commentates from that feed.

And didn't I read in the newspaper that British TV is considering allowing up to 12 minutes of ads per hour anyway? Puts you guys in the same boat as the rest of us at that point.
