Ferrari, Ferrari, Jaguar
When was the last time 2 major car manufacturers were together on a F1 podium ?
Discount Macca as they only produced the one car and very few of them. Top marks for DC and EI for remaining calm and benifitting from other peoples woes. SL |

Not that I want to spoil the glamour but would it be as exciting if the order were: Fiat, Fiat, Ford ?

You do have a valid point, but would we all watch if FIAT was racing Ford ?
I think that the last time was in the 1970's when Lotus shared a podium with Ferrari. SL |

I agree SL. Fiat, Fiat, Ford may not nave the same sex appeal. I was just trying to point out the irony in the team names. In the end, to be on a positive note, both Fiat and Ford should be acknowledged for spending good cash and effort to keep alive the grand old names and traditions.
(By the way no, I do not work for Ford or Fiat) Cheers, RT |
