Vandas should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Victorian State Round - Phillip Island

Well over the long weekend, we will see the next round of the Victorian State Race Series. It is being promoted and organised by my car club PIARC and is set to be a huge event.

The Improved Production Cars are having a topsy turvy year with the new tyres suiting the Datsuns, much more than the Mazdas. Phil Morriss and his mighty atto 1600 is a clear head and shoulders above the rest. We have seen the power tracks of Sandown and Winton, now it is time for the Skill and total package racing at Phillip Island. As you may know, you must construct a lap at Phillip Island, no amount of horsepower can make up the lost time through poor positioning, and power application.

We also see rounds of the Commodore Cup, Sports Sedans (where we are getting some mighty quick and exciting racing going on), Formula Vees, Formula Fords, and I believe even some Marque Sports Cars.

So come on down to Phillip Island over the long weekend, and come into our garage and say hello.

We are the Forty Winks Mazda RX7.

At least I'll be a little closer this time...in Canberra.

Which reminds me, really should start a thread.
