I was thinking it was the F1 track, but didn't think that Korean International Circuit was its name. That name is kinda boring (like its current surroundings).
Any word on the layout theyre running? |

Can't imagine they'd run to full layout given the current calibre of the series. Don't get me wrong, I want it to grow (as does everyone), but even V8 Supercars couldn't pull running the full 3.4-mi. layout at CoTA so I doubt it will be different at Yeongam. But I want to be proven wrong! |

There are (or were?) big plans for the area. A marina, a real estate development and more. Maybe theres hope for that area.

Inje Speedium is NOT Yeongnam.
Circuit impression by Porsche Cup drivers. (Ho-Ping Tung speaks in English.) http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XNTk1NDQwMjI0.html |

I have become so attuned to the new lower-decibel level that I can now detect other interesting noises. But why is such a great series going to race in the middle of the desert? Yeongham? Oh please!
I can see some good crackers in that list: Aguas, Mucke, Bell, Baird, Yoong and Tung. |

NB Team and Clearwater dominated the Practice session timing sheets.
Supercar Club Hong Kong has massaged GT Asia into the absolute best sprint GT series in Asia. The entry list just gets better every year, several star pros, de facto factory teams (Absolute, AF Corse), and factory supported teams (Clearwater, Craft). The best part is that GT Asia has become a series that teams in Asia aspire to run in. For example, prior to 2014, Mike Racing ran in joke championships such as Malaysian Super Series and Super Trofeo Asia, now look where they are now? Same can be said for the Taiwan Top Speed Racing Team, they used to run in the hilariously and notoriously awful Taiwan Speed Festival. And for our Australian friends, the 458 Clearwater is running is a completely new car. 458 in Bathurst was a total-loss, they will be back for 2015. |

Glad to see Tetsuya Tanaka continuing in racing. I guess he's retired from Super GT.

Caldarelli keeping busy. This track has a nice layout, just the surroundings are lacking. Any way to watch the race?

Apparently there will be a live stream, nothing confirmed yet though. All in all a much better venue than Inje, superior circuit facilities, location, surrounding accommodations etc.

Great to see Bairdo racing for Clearwater-damn he's good.
Awesome to hear they'll be back for the Bathurst 12hr next year after the early exit this year. Mok Weng Sun sounds like a big fan of the race. |
