Macau
Anyone got a list of entries yet? I hear that Tom Boardman is going and Rob Collard wants to drag the Clio out of retirement - anyone else?

Not many from the ETCC - Huisman, Jorg Muller and Priaulx will be there in Carly BMWs; VLR are entering 2 307s, one for Tim Harvey, and GR have an Integra for Harrison and some Focuses for Matthew Marsh and Nick Thomas. Oh, and James Kaye is entered in an Edenbridge 320i.

Which 307s are VLR running? Can't believe they are building another two so are these the Varta cars? Good to see Simon Harrison getting another run. And Kaye in the Edenbridge car??? could be one to watch.

I suspect they are - Varta would not have the infrastructure to run them themselves. I think perhaps it also gives an indication as to who Tom would like to be racing for next year...

On a slightly differnt note I belive that www.mst-group.co.uk will again be covering the event live with full timing and scoring for every session as they did last year. Priaulx to win.

Last year Tom Chilton drove the Edenbridge car in Macau. I wouldn't take James Kaye being there as an indication of anything.

Ian, Sky Sports (if u receive it) has a programme called "world motorsports" I dont know exactly when but they normally screen the event every year. Id expect it to be around 1 or 2 months after the event has happened though, other than that Eurosport may cover the race on their "series" programme.

Edenbridge BMW
Has Any one known if Edenbridge has upgraded its super production BMW into 2003 Spec? Do you think it's strong enough to beat carly BMWs in Macau?

The Edenbridge BMW is to the very latest spec available. In the dtc however they are allowed slightly more in the engine department, this is the spec Carly run to. However with cars from different production championships the organisers adjust any small performance gains with ballast. The other very important difference is the lifting of rpm limits for this event, therefore instead of the low 8500rpm in the BTCC the BMW can run to 9700 or higher.

Edenbridge BMW
I wonder which brand of tyres are you going to use in Macau? Dunlop? The Yokohama was awesome last year and Michelin won the race, so do you think you will switch using other tyres like Michelin or Yokohama ?

All three tyre manufacturers produce excellent tyres and for Macau the choice is very often decided by the teams relationship with the suppliers.

Is Team Schubert Motors the same team which races (together with Carly Motors) in the German DTC?
Didn't Charles Kwan drive in a green/white BMW for Carly Motors in last years race? Indeed there are a lott of Integra's. What's the difference between a Integra R, DC2 and DC5? |

Yes, Team Schubert Motors is the same team which races (together with Carly Motors) in the German DTC. Usually, they went to Macau Guia Race. Charles Kwan is doing Japanese GT Championship too. Very rich man. Five or six years ago we made the "gentleman drivers" GT race in Macau with a Ferrari F50 Coupé |

I think Integra R is integra DC 5 .
The difference between Dc5 and DC2 is DC 5 is the latest model. Charles Kwan didn't race in Guia race last year. Indeed he didn't get involved in it since 2001. The green/silver(not white) BMW is driven by Franz Engstler. |

Schubert and Schubel are totally different teams? Schubel used to design/run Ford's STW racing efforts?
