This is the series that we read about that will incorporate many of the cars that no longer meet the spec criteria of GARRA, Trans-Am, etc., that we thought was going to be the "American Muscle car Challenge," correct???
If YES, I want that Midwest Date to happen!!!! I'll buy a ticket....I'd love to see it... |

One other thoguht....
I would think that their first event should NOT be on Easter Weekend, but the other week listed above.... Why compete with families, church, etc., for your first event???? That couldn't help their attendance.....but that's just my opinion... |

Sounds great!
Anything to compete, and hopefully bury PG, is a good thing. Two questions though, does this series come under the SCCA umbrella, and will it be a stand alone series? |

I believe it is indeed a stand alone series, and headliner at some events. I'd have to check the schedule to see what else is on tap at all of the events. |

They are "borrowing" from the SCCA, T/A, and GA GTS/AGT rulebook for their rules.
An SCCA National or Pro licence is required to compete. Thats where the umbrella ends. The name was changed to American GT challenge for legal reasons (I guess AMCC is taken) and that will be the official name. |

So now the first race has been held, with 8 (eight) entrants. Was anyone there and would like to comment?
