An Apology

Just lately, I have been suffering from quite a lot of stress - those that know me personally know why - and I have said and done things that have caused offence and upset many of you on these pages. I am not trying to make any excuses for the negative attitude that I have given off, but I would like to SINCERELY apologise to all of you who feel I have communicated in this way.

The majority of what I've written is pants - it's just that I thought it was OK at the time.

So, whilst I will still be a little more "Selective" about future events, I DO intend to carry on Marshalling (Work permitting), I DO plan to renew my BMMC Membership for 2006 and (If he'll still accept it! ) send Chris my BGP 2006 volunteering form.

This post supercedes any other drivel I have spouted recently!

Thanks.

Can I just point out that I am not really after getting replies to this thread - it was just meant to be a statement, so perhaps Stephen or Chris could put the padlock on?

Is there a difference? Can't say as I'd noticed!

Seriously, Mark, you have had a bad time recently and I'm sure that you will overcome it. In the meantime, if you need to talk, PM me if you haven't already got my phone number and Steve and I will be glad to listen to you.

Mark,

If I can slip this one in before any padlocks or removal vans are called for.....

You have had a bad year and, I think, have picked up on general bad vibes throughout the marshalling community which has made it all worse.

So we'll take it all with a pinch of salt, shall we? As mentioned in another thread, it is always a pleasure bumping into you (btw are you going to Mallory tomorrow?) so we won't hold anything against you ( :0 unless you want us to).

Now, all you've got to do is persuade us that what you post in future is "meant"!!!!! (.. only kidding!)

Are you drunk mark!!!

I think part of the problem, I feel, is that these Message boards are taken to seriously, and it is sometimes hard to put sarcasm across, there isn't always the a smiley that get the message across!!!

I hope you get the stress problem sorted soon, try destroying something, that always helps!!

You have my support and thanks

Mark

Your support and enthusiasm is without question and is always 100% and much appreciated.

I always value the way in which you have keen eye for detail and have turned out even when it has been "difficult" for you.

Mark,

Welcome back from the "Dark Side".

I will be more then happy to forward your GP volunteering form to the MSA - and to continue any discussions you may want on BMMC and marshalling in general.

Regards
