What's your dream team?
With all this talk of whose the best of the current crop, I got to thinking, what has been the best over all team in history. From my memories it has to be the Senna and Prost piloted Mclaren Honda of 1988. With 16/16 poles and 15/16 wins between them I don't think anyone can argue with that. So what do you think would be the 'dream team' of the current crop (politics and personality clashes aside).
Mine would be a M. Schumacher and JPM piloted, BMW powered, Adrian Newey designed Ferrari. What do you think? |

I posted a topic like this last year sometime. The difference was, for your dream team you could choose anyone from the history of F1. I ended up choosing Senna and Clark driving a McLaren MP4/8 (The 1988 car), with Colin Chapman as team manager. For motors, we used Cosworth's.
My modern day dream team, surprisingly, doesn't include Schumacher. He dominates the team too much. So, here is my team. Number 1 Driver: Nick Heidfeld Number 2 Driver: Fernando Alonso Car: McLaren Engine: BMW Team Manager: Ron Dennis Tyres: Michelin |

I'll be the first to agree with you there EERO! Something about the name of your team. Does that just flow of the tongue or what? But maybe that should be Nokia/Finlandia European Minardi - Mercedes. Being Australian I'll grab whatever feels like mine in F1... LOL ... Last edited by SH0077; 5 May 2001 at 03:12. |
