2007 V8SCFC Round 4 Winton Results
Rain - the spice of life Top Ten in Winton Below Average Racing (Average Punter) 114 2 Team Bourbonphone (Micklegend) 104 3 Hayden Craig Motorsport (H C Motorsport) 101 4 Total Domination Racing (Next V8 King) 82 5 Hazzard Motorsport (redrag) 79 6 Tom's Red Army Racing (jason 7253) 78 7 Snap Crackle Pop Racing (Oaksnaf) 76 7 Phoenix Motorsport (Helix) 76 7 ReCar/CarTrek Racing (Fernandez_Angel) 76 10 Sweet Hog Racing (Sweet Hog) 65 Below Average Racing failed to live up to expectations at Winton by sliding around to a comfortable victory. Team Bourbonphone came home second, with Hayden Craig Motorsport taking third by a country mile over the rest of the pack. Congrats to champion speedboat pilots Greg Murphy (who's done a bit of jetboating), Will Davison, Shane Price, and Jamie Whincup Hard Charger Award Hayden Craig Motorsport cunningly replaced their Ford V8s with outboard motors before the first race, and launched ahead 23 places in the standings. Also benefiting from the conditions were Hazzard Motorsport (up 16), Tom's Red Army Racing (up 15), Total Domination Racing (up 14), Snap Crackle Pop Racing (up 13), Squadra Darkness (up 12), and Sweet Hog Racing and Phoenix Motorsport (both up 10). Biggest Loser Award Team Liquid Motorsport mistook Winton for a rallycross round, spending far too much time in the sand traps and dropping 14 places. Other mudlarks included Grace Motorsport, Dazz Motorsport, CelciusSport, and Kmart Racing, who all fell 12. Standings after Winton (last round in brackets): 1 (10) Below Average Racing (Average Punter) 357 2 (11) Team Bourbonphone (Micklegend) 343 (-14) 3 (7) Brendon Engineering (Pro Racer) 324 (-33) 4 (5) 05 Racing Forever (adz_34) 315 (-42) 5 (6) Chrysler 101 Racing (M-Kart) 313 (-44) 6 (29) Hayden Craig Motorsport (H C Motorsport) 312 (-45) 7 (1) Club 27 Racing (woodbine) 308 (-49) 8 (2) Rowdy Motorsport (Rowdy) 306 (-51) 8 (2) Gotta Race (billybanana) 306 (-51) 10 (4) Pinnacle Motorsport (marcus) 301 (-56) 10 (7) Team Green Bean (Peckstar) 301 (-56) 12 (9) Team Chaparral Racing (TCR-028) 288 (-69) 12 (25) Snap Crackle Pop Racing (Oaksnaf) 288 (-69) 14 (14) Red Bull Autotechnica (HRT433) 281 (-76) 15 (31) Hazzard Motorsport (redrag) 280 (-77) 16 (11) Team Tiger Racing (carma) 276 (-81) 16 (11) BlueBlood Motorsport (BlueBlood) 276 (-81) 18 (21) Scuderia Cavallo Ferro (Antrodemus) 270 (-87) 19 (14) Total Team Red & One Other (Harves) 269 (-88) 20 (19) Jacko Junior Racing (Jacko44) 268 (-89) 21 (25) Eagle Motorsport (Biggy G) 263 (-94) 22 (16) S.L.U.T. Below Average Racing have taken over as frontrunners, closely followed by Team Bourbonphone and Brendon Engineering. Hayden Craig Motorsport have also spectacularly announced their arrival into 6th place. Despite a rough weekend from Pinnacle Motorsport, they have retained a top ten overall place and the lead in the Battle of the Mods. Scuderia Cavallo Ferro are slowly mounting a challenge, while CelciusSport are chasing the 2006 version of Pinnacle Motorsport (not a good thing). |

There was a long, hard talking-to in the Two Dollar Twenty (With GST) garage last night.
Much talk of brooms and knives (new and long, respectively.) All are on notice for a much improved Eastern Creek. On a related matter, Two Dollar Twenty (With GST) shops Australia-wide are running a special this month on inflatable donut-shaped cushions, for when your bum is a little sore. We also have a runout deal on sandcastle-making gear like buckets, spades and moulds. Kramer |

Eagle Motorsport nearly into the top 20, if all four drivers can have a good round together, then hopefully a top 10 round isnt far off

well average round for us (especially with Lee righting off our car but most off all we are glad he is ok) but with many others having a disasterous round it was enough to push us up to 3rd in the championship so all in all not to bad.
except we are unimpresed with JC punting his teammate Murph off with 3 laps to go in the first race as Murph would have got a good points haul and we were also unimpressed with him passing under yellow and getting himsel put out of the points, we would have been closer to the #1 spot in the championship if not for that JC has coped a bit of a lecture and promises to not do it again. Down the tube
Winton was a big toilet bowl (or bunker) for Team Liquid Motorsport. The biggest loser award doesnt feel so bad considering the blue oval won the round...finally. Bring on the next round.

Another shocker for B.O.R.I.N.G...
A big thank-you to our 'cheapest' employee Shane Price for flying the flag this round. *Some words to Mr Skaife and Mr Wilson: ice, thin ,very.... * |
