RML MG Lola for 1000km Le Mans, LMES and Le Mans 24 hour 2004
RML is entering an MG Lola for the coming 1000 km race in Le Mans.
They also will compete in the LMES and Le Mans 24h in 2004. Good to see a new prototype-team entering the scene RML were in Le Mans a few years ago with a Saleen. |

RML have a long history at Le Mans and other races, including the Escose C2, Aston Martin Grp C .
Great to see that a top line team seem to see a future in sportscar racing. |

They have had the car for a while just not raced. From what I understand they entered into the big one in June, but didn't get an entry.

Nice initiative that will allow us to see the MG Lola again( not the horrible B2K with the tractor nose ).

What do you think of the 'private' liveries ? The factory one (green and black) was really wonderful, the others are a tone behind... IMHO...

I like Dyson's...it is clean and readily identifiable on the track...and the old Knighthawk livery from last year was sharp....not as wild about the red & blue that Banana Joe's carries, though....

OK. reference all these comments on liveries, what would you like to see? I have it on (reasonably good) authority that the person responsible actually reads this forum, so how about some (sensible) suggestions?

The factory liveries have worked well - the Knighthawk LM livery was wonderful - black with flourescent orange flames - sadly it had all too real flames before getting too far in the race.
For preference I don't like race cars based on a white livery and do like those with a black base colour. Alternatively and all over electric blue would suit the cars proportions I reckon |

I believe that red, white and blue (in any order of dominance) may be the preferred choice for base-colours. I agree with you about mainly white cars, though, They're a real pain to photograph too.
