If we could take the time to remember today John Cooper. While he's best and deservedly remembered for the rear engined revolution in Formula One, re-started in 1958 after the false start of the Auto Unions of the mid-thirties, but also for developing on of the best Touring Cars of all time, the Morris Mini Cooper series of cars.

Sad news indeed!
He made an immeasurable contribution to many forms of motorsport. There will in all probability, never be another like him. |
