It is that time of year again! Perhaps one of the most anticipated and star-studded IMSA seasons since the Merger in 2014. The 2018 IMSA season, as per usual, begins with the delicious appetizer that is the Roar Before the Rolex 24.

I created this thread in the hopes of funneling Roar discussion away from the IMSA 2018 Thread.

I don't think the pictures of that huge size are needed to be posted on here by the way.

That unloading video by the way had almost 28,000 views at the time I am writing this. I think people are looking forward to this. Just wish that interest would show on this forum which does not seem to get the high number of postings like it used to.

That is interesting, what browser do you use? Chrome automatically re-sizes the images to a more reasonable scale on this forum. I can view them in their full size by clicking on them.

I believe the event is also going to be covered by IMSA radio!

Plus the results actually have an outcome this weekend. The timesheet at the end of the test will determine pit/garage allotment for the 24 hours!

I use Firefox and I have no issues with image resizing on here. The "click to enlarge" feature is alive and well as I'm viewing this thread at least.

IMSA alkamel should report all data for each session.
Anyway, hope to see some good action these days and not another hide and seek game.... got bored by cars marking highest top speed and then lapping almost in lmpc pace....

There's an interview with Colin Braun just when he's posted the 5th fastest time, so I don't think it's a live coverage...

4 cadillacs in first 4 positions and 3 tenths off last year pole. Good start.

Does anybody know if oreca 07 and other lmp2 are in sprint bodywork or LM bodywork?

Watching top speeds, as expected oreca 07's have the best average top speeds among lmp2's. Cadillacs rule there too.

Based on last year Cadillac also ran with sprint bodywork at Daytona aside from removing diveplanes. Orecas seem to be running sprint bodywork but with one instead of two diveplanes.
