I have just purchased a 10D , its just fantastic .The build quality is very good and the alloy body gives a solid feel . It is my first Digital SLR so I find it hard to compare with the Sigma but it is a year newer and has more functions(a greater ISO range etc ). I have only covered a few meetings with it but find myself wondering why I did not make the change sooner . If you do decide on the Canon I can recommend Park Cameras , they were very helpful and competertive on price . They also do part exchange and good bundle deals which may be of interest to you .www.parkcameras.com

Oh man, those are damn expensive things. I'm waiting til they're priced under $1000 (about 450 pounds) to go full digital. It'll probably be a few years, but it will happen. I give it 3 years.
