Fans comp - your turn to ask the questions!

Hello all

I recently had a PM from one of our members suggesting that the fans comp has extra questions as opposed to 1st, 2nd and 3rd retirements. (i.e that are used for questions 8, 9 & 10 )

The problem with only 1 person asking the questions week in week out is that they are usually very much alike, so, i ask you, the guys and gals playing the comp to come up with some questions that you might like to see used throughout the season, gives me a bit more diversity and alot less headache

So, it's over to you, lets see what we can come up with and hopefully (most probably) they will be used throughout the course of the remaining 17 races

With a question like that, the members who happen to live in a country in which James Allen's program can be received, would be at a very big advantage.

But at a disadvantage, of having to here him go...."GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!"

I must say I do enjoy questions that are relevant to the latest occurrences. ST showed a good knack for that.

In hot venues such as this and the next race, the question:

- " How many cars will be running at race end"

A few other possibilities:

- What 3 drivers who will be on podium (worth 3 pts)

- the fastest 1st lap

- leader at half distance

- leader after 1 lap

- number of cars on lead lap at finish

- what driver gained the most positions

How many laps (if any) will be run behind the safety car?

On which lap will the first car pit?

Who, relative to there starting position, will lose most positions by the end of the first lap?

Who, relative to there starting position, will gain most positions by the end of the first lap?

Who will be X fastest in the Sunday morning qualifying session only. (not aggreagated time)

Will someone have to change a Nose Cone in the race, if so who (worth 2points if someone has to, 1 point if the answer is no)

What is the predominant colour of the race winners helmet? (I do not know if this one would work, you could phrase it as What is one of the predominant colours of the race winners helmet - Judges decision is final as to what makes up a predominant colour)

Will the race winner have a higher or lower car number than his team mate?

How many pitstops will be made in the race by all cars?

Which driver by the end of the race, has made up most positions relative to there grid position?

thats all I can think of for now

In order, most interesting IMO first:

How many drivers will take P1 after their lap in first qualifying?
(in Sepang, the answer to that question was 5: Davidson (1st on track), Heidfeld(3rd), R Schumacher (9th), Trulli (12th) and Alonso(18th))

How many laps will be difference between first pit stops of drivers on the front row (having also chance to answer that one of them won't make a pit stop)

How many drivers will get a penalty for engine change?

How many drivers will retire because of a crash/spin?

On which lap will final retirement of the race occur?

How about these, V?:

How many times will Schumi Lite slag off Ferrari and/or Williams in the post race interview?

Will the winner of the race be a first-time race winner?

Which McLaren driver will set the faster race lap?

Will a Sauber finish in the points?

Thanks for the idea's everyone, they may be used through the season, just one thing, some mentioned 2 or 3 points for a correct answer, this won't be happening, it takes long enough to score the entries when it's just 1 point per answer, let alone 2 or 3 !

To give you all an idea, it took me an hour alone this morning just to work out the leader board after the Malaysian race in comparison to the leader board after Australia, thats without having to go through everyones answers and scoring them.

The other reason for not going for more points per answer, you lot are having a hard enough time keeping up with Daisy as it is If she gets the oppertunity of more points per question, the comp will be over by Silverstone
