Heady days of Group B rallycross with my all time favourite the RS200 - who was that, was is Rantonen (spelling) although he had a more multi wing kind of arrangement I recall...

Not so easy! Video is too short! Don’t remember the crash! Think it happened during the 1989 Belgian ERC round at the Mandescircuit (gone for good!) at Ingelmunster. Start of the 3rd qualifying heat with Vidar Sauthon (Escort Mk3), Terje Schie (Pug 205), Will Gollop (Metro 6R4), Jarmo Lähteenmäki (Delta S4) and in the two white Ford RS200 are Pekka Rantanen and Stig Blomqvist. Rantanen must be the one who rolls his RS200 as he had no time for the 3rd runs.

Eddi, do you think this was during qualifing heats ? I think that it was a final because of the starting grid. And i think it was Blomqvist who rolled his car. You can see Rantanen drive behind the group (Partek sponsored).

The car that rolls is Thor Holm in the B-final. Didn't Blomqvist finish third in the A-final that day?

Yep, Stig Blomqvist finished third overall that day. But Thor Holm finished second of the 'B', behind Vidar Sauthon who went up to the 'A', while Pekka Rantanen was last of the 'B' after being black flagged. So if the rolling RS200 was Thor in the 'B' there must have been a re-run. However, the others (Lähteenmäki, Gollop, Schie) fit also for that Ingelmunster 'B'.

I've seen that crash with a video taken from the inside of the circuit (somewhere near the marshals post) - it's just as spectacular from there! I think the video you've posted shows the sequence of events better though.

After watching the first clip again and the second for the first time I’m sure now it was the late Thor Holm. See the Glomma Papp sticker on the nose of the RS200!

You’re bloody right, mate! Thor Holm got no. 9 for 1989.
However, AFAIR the rule of the prefixed starting numbers was just introduced in 1988 or 1989.
