British Gt Championship.

Whats your general opinion of the Corvette C5 in the British GT championship ?

Nothing like a loaded question, eh?

How about "significantly better prepared than the cars the drivers drove last year."

Calm down, calm down - only a bit of fun...

(Note, I'm not happy with my truck)

Getting better by the week and should really fly with a proper race engine.

Improved and really impressive at Silverstone, despite still having the " taxi" engine. Showed it can run with the Moslers and TVRs, and with things becoming more equal, could be on the top srep of the podium 'ere the years out.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't that the old Trinkler Corvette that ran a few races in the ALMS? I'm pretty sure it is, and i'm seriously impressed that it's as quick as it is. I would have never pegged it to be pressuring the Moslers (it may not be yet, but it will), but i'm very happy to see it. If any 'vette is doing well i'm happy!

Think you're right about it being the ex-Trinkler car- it came over to the UK as part of the Atomic Kitten team in 2001. Xero seem to have got it going far better than AK ever did....

There was an F40 entered for Silverstone for Richard Jones & Stefano Sebastiani, but they failed to show (think I've read it was something to do with problems over tyre sizes apparently....)- believe they could be appearing later in the year though

There was something in Autosport last week about a British Zonda team for next year

The F40 for Brit GTs is not exactly a bog standard car - it apparently has the powerplant from a 550 Maranello fitted!
