What PC system can I use?
Hi all,
I use a dual-boot Win98 and Windows 2000. My win98 has (for some inexplicalbe reason) decided not to work again, so I am looking to upgrade to XP. I know that none of the games I have (GPL, GP3, Le mans, TOCA2, SCGT etc) will work on win2000, but will they work on any other system? (XP, for example) What do you use? Using a games consul is not an option, I'm afraid. I only have room for 1 computer, and it must be a pc for work. Will |

Well I have used GP3 & 4 on XP and GPL runs fine on it if you're fully patched up to version 1.2 (and lets face it, who isn't these days?).
I've used Windows XP (Professional Edition) since it was released and as far as I'm aware and from personal experience XP its fine and I might even stretch to 'great' for running games. Last edited by Spudgun; 3 Apr 2005 at 00:10. |

Yup, WinXP is fine, just don't use the compatibility mode stuff, it always screws up the game.
