AL Racing should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

Hello guys, been a while since I posted.

Earlier this year they were talk that Hockenheim is gonna be modified for this year, and German GP is on next weekend, I haven't heard anything about the chances. It's odd, does anyone know anything about it?

Bernie still wants the straights removed and some naff Mickey Mouse circuit built around the stadium section, to increase the spectacle. However, the city of Hockenheim can't afford it.

Bernie is now threatening to move the race to the Lausitzring - but surely if he was that desparate he should come up with the funding himself.

LEAVE HOCKENHEIM ALONE YOU SILLY MONEY-GRABBING PIXIE!

I don't mind the stadium section of the circuit, it has some nice corners, but the rest (straights and all) is a bore.

A few changes to the track really wouldn't hurt.

A few changes to the track vertainly wouldn't hurt, but to remove the straights would mean you didn't really have Hockenheim any more, just in name.

After the never-above-third-gear go-cart race around Monaco, it's nice to see the cars stretch their legs a bit too...

The straights add character - why on earth would we want a season made up of Sepangs, Indys or Catalunyas? If Bernie got his way thats all we'd get.

Speak hockenheim and what comes to mind first is the straights! its the tracks characters and so, leave it alone!
As mentioned, we do not need similar tracks for all 17 races, a variety of them is surely more interesting and challenging to team and drivers. Hockenheim should stay on the calender, and stay the same....

By the way, i think Lauitzring is a very interesting circuit when i see its track map and pics, i dont mind F1 going there!

Hockenheim (and Monza for that matter) would be awesome races if the F1 cars produced a lot more slipstream. That way there would be a lot more overtaking. Still, it would be a shame to modify the circuit as it's one of the few high speed circuits in the calendar.
