Archer should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Who has leased or bought the SER L2?

Someone IN THE KNOW answer it once and for all.

It several threads people are saying Perkins and in several other threads people are saying Britek. WHO IS IT?

Is it also FACT that Larry has Bap's L2 now as well? Is that a lease or purchase?

I'm told it's Britek.

Britek has bought it, just waiting for TEGA approval. All will be done next week sometime. Larry has Baps franchise definately but not sure whether leased or bought.

I wouldn't say it's definite that Larry has Bap's franchise on a lease deal, not by any measure

What has CAMS running Australian Motorsport got to do with Larry being able to procure a licence from Romano or TEGA?

I'm saying this franchise issue is not in the best interests of our motorsport.
Do CAMS administer motorsport any more?

We all understand why AVESCO (or TEGA ?) made the decision but if it is not in the best interests of the sport, can CAMS interfere?
Making a guy give up circuit racing for speedway (Garth Walden) seems to be a sport acting in the interests of a few.

CAMS sold the category management rights to TEGA/AVESCO... and at this stage, monitors and controls only those aspects of the sport where as ASN, it would be expected for them to do so (such as maintaining driver standards, licencing, circuit accreditation, officialdom etc etc)

As far as the franchise system, presuming it has a foundation in law as legal (and there are some shadows here at the minute) the TEGA/AVESCO framework can run as it sees fit in the commercial management of the category.

CAMS has no input on this side of the wall.. it sold its shares... and sold the rights...

In any setup, there will always be the advantaged and the disadvantaged... that we now have 34 cars with for the most part, a competitiveness not seen ever... its good for the sport... in this aspect anyway...

I guess you make your choice.. do you want to see Steven Richards race in the main series in 2005, or would you rather see Garth Walden race? Thats about the size of the equation....

I can see AVESCOs master plan coming along.... when Team Dynamik hands in their card, or gets flicked, Larry will buy their L1 and arange to sell his L2s back to TEGA.

Giving them the perfect 16/16 Holden/Ford 32 car grid for all Aussie and overseas rounds.....
