Galway hillclimb
A wonderful venue, great hillclimb, Atlantic views, great scenery, take tea with Peter Dunne, then oceans of the black stuff and other hospitality.
The motorsport is good also, enjoy!!!!!! |

You're right, its a wonderful hill and at over 2 miles in length is the longest hill in Ireland (and I think the UK also). There is no better place to spend a Saturday evening after a days sport than Monks Bar in Ballyvaughan which is famous for its seafood and pints of the black stuff Ballyalban is probably the only hill on the Irish calendar that could entice me to do hillclimbs again. |

Just back from the Ballyvaughan Hillclimbs, what a weekend,
i couldnt have asked for any better the weather was scorchin and good climbing. Thanks to the Galway club for a well organised event. Well done to everyone including the nutter - Paul O Connell, and Simon Mc Kinley who put his Mk 2 Escort into the top 10 amongs all single seaters. But the biggest congratulations must go to Sylvie Mullans who got the F.T.D for both days but shattered the hill record at Ballyalaban on sunday by a mind blowing 4 seconds. Already planning for next year |

Hi
Any news please on which hills are running on this year's Galway Hillclimb Weekend on 26 & 27 March 2022? Is it Ballyalban on both days (or Ballyryan near Fanore on Sat and Ballyalban on Sun)? And anyone got an old entry form or programme that has a plan that shows the course including start and finish? Thanks Mike |
