Have you tried contacting the supplier/manufacturer? I had a similar issue with a Armtech device, but I just emailed them and asked them to send me a manual, which they did - nice people
Is there any writing on the unit which would give any answers? Alternatively, you could guess. Red will almost certainly be 12v +ve, one will be 12v negative, one will go to the coil, and, erm.. Well, perhaps not eh? |

Rang Demon Tweeks 'cos it's in their catalogue but they've none in stock so no wiring diagram. They suggested RaceParts but they're not open until the New Year and I'd like to get it in while I'm working on the car over Christmas. Just hoping someone can help

Ask Demon Tweeks who the supplier are, and give 'em a call - that's your best bet right now I reckon.

I'm afraid i can't help out either, so in the meantime, here's a funny story for you all to enjoy.
I bought a new tacho recently for my 1972 Holden Torana, took it out of the box, read the instructions thoroughly and decided to call my mate Ian. Ian is much older and wiser than me and has built several race cars from a bare shell. He is also an Electrician. Ian's 10 year old son follows him everywhere and is very interested in the workings of anything mechanical, so on the way over he asked his Dad, how he planned to wire up the tacho. Ian explained briefly what he planned to do. Son looks at him and says, why don't you just wire it up to the computer? David's car doesn't have a computer, was the reply. A stunned look, followed with the question, but how does it run if it doesn't have a computer? Talk about a product of his generation, he couldn't believe that a car could run without a computer. Sure enough, as soon as they arrive, he's straight into the cabin and looking up behind the dash, determined to find a computer somewhere. |
