GT World Challenge Europe 2020
Early days yet, but both the Endurance and Sprint grids will likely have slightly different looks to them in 2020.

M Sport looking to shift towards customer led programmes with KPAX mooted for a move to GT Challenge Europe, GRT are almost certain not to return in a serious way with their IMSA expansion afoot, and people like Honda, Mclaren are eyeing up more serious PRO efforts with customer teams.

GT Open 2019 champions Emil Frey just announced a return to the series with their Lamborghinis, sticking with a largely factory free lineup, so looks like FFF Racing will be the sharp point of the Lambo effort again in 2020.

Add a minimum of a pair of WRT Audi R8 LMS GT3's for both sprint and endurance. Full programme, number of cars and drivers to be confirmed soon

Kpax taking over from M-Sport in the Endurance Cup only, so still no Bentleys in Sprint.

Also confirmed is that M-Sport will run the full IGTC.

In addition to the big but rather expected news of K Pax to Europe, Tech1 and Panis Barthez Competition have merged forming Panis Racing, and have confirmed to DSC they will run in World Challenge Europe... Presuming thats continuing their Lexus programme

Grids are coming together nicely, and numbering about the same as this point in off season last year, so I dont expect we will see much of a dip in entries.

Well aware WRT are likely to enter more cars that just a pair, but so far they have only confirmed 'cars' for World Challenge Europe, so numbers TBC

Great if Panis runs one of the Lexus' as a frontrunning car?

Who would likely be driving though?

Ideally at least one with experience of the Frey effort 2 years ago?

Really? I get the sunset part but do we need three of 5 endurance races in partial darkness?

Honestly it’s not the most enjoyable to watch a bunch of headlines coming towards you on YouTube

You can enjoy it at Spa, and somewhat still at Paul Ric, but how much of it do we really need?

I agree. And don't really think the Nurburgring during the autumn is a good idea for sunset race, as we have seen with the Endurance races in the past at that place. I can remember a lot of fog...

I think endurance racing should do more at night tbh. I'd even consider a Bathurst style early start for some darkness.

I don't think I can enjoy anything at Paul Ricard.
