PA specialises in the toys out of the pram routine and barely takes anything to do it.
I fail to see how Supercars is responsible for a guy who is under contract but wants to go race for another team, and why it should be allowed. Hell, Betty should have made Will or 888 buy out his contract. Simple as that. |

As some have suggested elsewhere, open the seaon at SMP as the Supernight thing.
Give it a short, sharp format over a Saturday. 3 races, soft - I mean Supersoft - tyres, progressive grids, pitstops for minimum 2 tyres. Make the races 30min long, 45min - 1hr in between. Practice and qualy Friday arvo, when the local school kids are there. Top 10 shootout Saturday, then Race 1 late arvo, just before sunset, one in twilight, and the final under full lights. Oh, and on the short track. Funnel everyone onto the hills at either end of the front straight, and into the grandstand, and it'll be sick. Hire some carnies to blow up some jumping castles and run a ferris wheel, showbags, etc. Put right before NRL and AFL get going for their seasons, and make sure round 2, is not more than a fortnight away. Make a whole heap of noise about it in the media, and use it to build momentum for the rest of the year. |

As much as people think it's boring it did turn in some good racing. Maybe more even now that SVG isn't around with freakish tyre preservation.

Kai Allen looks set to take a DJR drive in 2025. But who does he replace? Does Davison get pushed out or De Pasquale go looking for another drive?

Surely thats an easy answer. DP is future investment compared to WD and age goes against Will. Co-Driver duties in the future I would think.

Davo is only early 40s so hardly retirement time. I reckon DJR will clean house and have Allen and someone else new next year. |

With both drivers out of contracts at the end of 2024, I wonder if DJR will be trying to get Kostecki... |

Will Canberra make it onto the schedule next season or not far past that?
Mr Hill has his Tyrepower MSR Camaro on shopping centre duty at Majura Park, visiting their Canberra based sponsor SupaGlass, and doing demos on the closed off public roads, and the Canberra Festival of Speed to what has to be said is a fairly decent sized crowd. Good on MSR for picking up on the opportunity to showcase the local driver, his main game car, and for MSR for allowing it to be the lovely, noisy experience it is. Canberra comeback for ‘25? Please.. |

So which seats are up for grabs at years end
Fords 19 - Payne (lock) 26 - Stanaway / Anton 17 - Allen 11 - Brodie/Waters 6 - Brodie/Waters 56 - Randle ? 25 - Mostert 2 - wood No change 3 - Love 7 - Courtney ? Davison ? Chevs Maybe static, seats up for grabs 23 - slade ? ADP ? 99 - hazelwood ? I think Brodie holds the keys, DJR? Given his Coke relationship, Tickford could be a logical home and I think Cam really needs a fresh start. Perhaps spearheading the DJR revival. seats on the Chev side look more limited with 888 MSR T18 steady. Premiair could be compelling. Who the fk would want to drive for Betty and Barry now? Interesting times. |

Fairly sure Richie will be at Groves for longer than one season! Can't see AdP or anyone else in there unless he bombs.

Is Brodie even going to come back.
I think we have all moved on from him atm. His silence speaks words. |

Don't think he can talk much about his situation so he's silent. I know some say he's going to the US but IMO he'll return and would this year if only he could.
